What do you do at Camarda Wealth?
I serve as liaison between client asset custodian and the firm’s financial advisors. I’m responsible for executing the Portfolio Board’s instructions across client accounts, preparing Camarda’s customized client statements, preparing detailed tax and other reports on request, as well as conducting other trading and accounting functions. I take an active role in client services to make sure our clients’ requests are accurately carried out in a timely fashion. I am told I have a take-charge – get it done- personality but its because I want to do right by our clients.

What are your credentials/past experience, for working in your position?
I started my career in financial services at Morgan Guaranty Trust Company on Wall Street more than 30 years ago, continued in a similar role in Miami before moving to Jacksonville and joining Camarda Wealth in 1999.
What is something that the investing public has to deal with that you want to fix?
Business exists to solve a problem and help people live better lives. How you understand your client’s pain points, and your approach to helping them, are instant trust builders.
What do you like about working at Camarda Wealth?
Diversity in job responsibilities and working closely with the clients. It is very rewarding to me to be able to help clients with their financial needs and give them a sense of comfort and peace of mind with whatever they might be going through. Sometimes, it’s just being there to be a sounding board.

What is your background?
I grew up on Long Island, NY and I later moved down to Miami to be with my family where I lived until moving to Jacksonville.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
When I’m not working my ideal day would be to relax on the beach, enjoying the sounds of the ocean, or if it is raining – good movies are perfect. Anyone who knows me knows my son and granddaughter are my pride and joy so we do as much as we can together.
