It has been an eventful fourth quarter for Camarda Wealth Advisory Group and its newly launched “Camarda Cares” initiative! This is all due to the kindness and generosity of you, our loyal clients, and your willingness to step up to help your community. Over the past few weeks and months we have been able to assist in several different projects directly benefiting The JP Hall Children’s Charities, Toys For Tots and The Quigley House.
It all started when we announced the start of The Camarda Cares program at our 25th Anniversary Party. That evening some of our clients took a break from the celebrations to stuff Camarda Care Bears and to decorate T-shirts for the bears with a positive, uplifting or fun message or design. These bears were being built to benefit the JP Hall Children’s Charities and their annual Christmas Event which serves in excess of 2000 Clay County children each year during the Holiday Season.
We continued to ask for your support at our Annual Client Holiday Party and you did not disappoint! As has been our custom for many years, on the evening of the Holiday Party we requested that each attendee bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit a local charitable organization. This year, Toys For Tots and JP Hall Children’s Charities were both impressed by your overwhelming generosity and wanted us to extend a warm “thank you” for each of the wonderful toys donated. Your generosity did not stop there! Many of you also donated Gift Cards and Gas Cards to benefit The Quigley House and their efforts to break the cycle of domestic abuse. With your help we were able to donate nearly $400 in gift cards to benefit local families seeking temporary shelter over the holiday season! Great job everyone! You made a big difference in the lives of many families this year and we appreciate each of you.
In addition to the donation of the bears and toys, several of our staff members wanted to participate even further by volunteering to assist with the JP Hall event and spent the morning of December 15th at the Clay County Fair Grounds helping out and experiencing first-hand the amazing job JP Hall does at making sure that no child in Clay County misses out on the experience of a joyful Christmas. It was a wonderful morning that highlighted the absolute best of the residents of Clay County, the tireless efforts of Virginia Hall who has kept her grandfather’s vision alive for 37 years and we felt truly honored to be a part of something so meaningful! And yes-we even had the pleasure of seeing some of those “made with care” Camarda Care Bears in the arms of a happy child or two.
Thank you once again to everyone who gave of their time, talent and resources this year and we look forward to inviting you to participate in more Camarda Cares events in 2019!
