After years of searching for the right partner, Jeff is very excited to announce that Doug Benefield, CPA, has come on as a 50/50 partner in TaxMaster. Doug is young, ambitious, and very smart, and will add a key capability to let us offer not only tax planning but accounting and tax return prep to all our friends and clients.
Doug is a lifelong resident of Orange Park and graduated from St. Johns Country Day School. Doug’s wife Cary is also a lifelong OP resident. They have a three year old boy, Douglas who is ALL BOY.
Doug started his career with local CPA firm the LBA Group. LBA was the largest Jax-regional accounting firm until it merged into BDO, one of the largest integrated accounting firms in the world, with expertise across the accounting spectrum, from large international conglomerates to small business and individual investors.
Doug is excited to take this “mega-CPA-firm” experience and focus it through a family firm where clients are people with families, not numbers and billing rosters.
As most of you know, Jeff is super-focused on saving clients’ tax. By leveraging Doug’s considerable skills, he expects we will take TaxMaster up to a whole new level, providing tax prep, booking, accounting, and CFO services to all clients who want to see “the Camarda difference” in their tax returns and accounting quality.
